The Fuel Up to Play 60 team is a group of staff nominated 4th grade students who lead health and fitness initiatives for all students at WAEC throughout the school year.
Fuel Up to Play 60 team members are nominated based off of the following criteria:
Demonstrating leadership skills
Acting with and encouraging responsibility
Using positive decision-making skills
The Fuel Up to Play 60 group meets afterschool to execute health and wellness initiatives inside and outside of school for all WAEC students. Students are nominated at the end of September each school year. All students who are nominated then receive a permission slip to be signed by parents and guardians to allow consent to join the team.
Fuel Up to Play 60 team members can be removed for negative actions and behaviors. If a student(s) is removed as a consequence, another student would be asked to take their place and a permission slip will be sent home.
