English Language Arts

Literacy permeates everything we do in the Wattsburg Area School District. Students engage with reading, writing, speaking, and listening throughout their school day. Dedicated English Language Arts courses combine with content courses such as science and social studies to support a strong, well-rounded literacy foundation for all learners. Curriculum that incorporates the PA Core Standards and Common Core State Standards provides students with a variety of experiences designed to engage them with rigorous, comprehensive, and relevant literacy content.
