Clothing Construction introduces students to sewing techniques for the beginner.  Students will create a pin cushion, and a pillow project.  For the pillow project, the students will apply a picure to their fabric and Free Motion Quilt it.  Some students will be able to complete a fleece hat.  Some of the skills that will be addressed in Clothing Construction include; knowledge and use of small sewing equipment, set up and use of sewing machines, measuring, pinning, marking, cutting, reading and understanding patterns, and using those patterns to create usable items that the student can take home and enjoy for years to come.
