Apply to be a Volunteer

To get started, please download and complete the Volunteer Application.

You will need to apply for several Required Clearances (certifications) to be submitted with your completed Volunteer Application. Clearances must not be dated more than one (1) year prior to the date of approval by the Board.

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to apply for your required certifications.

Mandated Reporting

Volunteers should be aware that recent changes to the Child Protective Services Law (CPSL) categorize school volunteers as Mandated Reporters.  Although the law does not require volunteers to be trained, the District strongly encourages all volunteers to complete free online training on the requirements of Mandated Reporting, which can be accessed here: Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center.
