Throughout the academic year, WAMS has a variety of activitiesm services, and
programs to prevent students from using and abusing drugs. These programs include:
* Red Ribbon Week Activites in October
* A Drug and Alcohol Counselor from Pyramid Healsthcare Services
regularly participate in the WAMS Student Assistance Program meetings
* Students have the opportunity to meet with the Drug and Alcohol Counselor
for assistance in drug and alcohol awareness and/or cessation from use
(this also includes tobacco products)
* A Program Coordinator from Coalition Pathways Inc. presents several programs
to various grade levels at WAMS addressing Drug and Alcohol Awareness and Prevention
* Poster, Banners, and Bulletin Boards for Drug and Alcohol Awareness
