Appleton, Wisconsin -- June 26, 2008 --The conventional wisdom and many of the talking heads out there tell parents that they are not really able to run their families.  They are told they must try to understand and accept their children's self-defeating and irresponsible behavior.  That it is just a phase.  They are conditioned to believe that someone out there knows more about their family than they do.  Don MacRae, co-founder and president of parentwarrior.com says, "This is a destructive notion and it sets parents up to lose their edge which is bad for families."
